SIU attends Asia Pacific Accreditation Conference

The 2011 Asia Pacific Accreditation Conference of The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB International) took place from the 9th to the 11th of October, 2011 in Singapore. The Saigon International University was invited to send a representative to the conference by virtue of its membership in AACSB International.

As the first conference in the Asia Pacific Region, it attracted great attention from prestigious universities in the region. The conference offered excellent opportunities to universities to gain more insights into AACSB International, including its accreditation standards for business programs. Experts from AACSB International provided these universities with information on the accreditation process and related requirements for obtaining accreditation for business programs from AACSB International via seminars on related topics, such as developing a research orientation and support system, navigating through the standards, cross-cultural collaborations with accredited members of AACSB International, and how to succeed in the AACSB accreditation process.

In addition, university members have the opportunity to exchange ideas with AACSB accreditation experts and educators in the Asia Pacific Region.
