Students meeting the following requirements are entitled to be considered and recognized for graduation by the University:
– Have no pending criminal prosecution or academic suspension by the time of graduation consideration.
– Accumulate the required number of credits for the specified program.
– Achieve a cumulative grade point average of 2.00 or higher for the entire course.
– Obtain the certificates of national defense and physical education.
Requirements on foreign language competency:
– For the program taught in Vietnamese language:
+ For students of English Language major: complete the Intensive English 1 & 2 courses and, pass the English Language Proficiency Test organized by the Saigon International University with the result equivalent to Level 5 on the Vietnamese Foreign Language Proficiency Framework or submit an International English certificate equivalent to Level C1 according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR).
+ For students of other majors:
+ complete the English Skills 1, 2, 3 courses;
+ submit an International English certificate equivalent to Level 3 on the Vietnamese Foreign Language Proficiency Framework (TOEIC 550, or IELTS 4.5, or TOEFL 45 iBT, or TOEFL ITP 470, or Cambridge Assessment English 145 (B1 Preliminary/B1 Business Preliminary/Linguaskill))
+ For the program taught in English language: Students are required for a minimum TOEFL score of 79 iBT or an IELTS score of 6.5.
Requirements on informatics competency:
+ For students of Computer Science major:
+ submit one of the following International Professional certificates: CCNA, or Coursera – Applied Text Mining in Python (University of Michigan), or Coursera – Big Data Specialization (University of California San Diego), or Coursera – Machine Learning Specialization (Stanford University).
+ For students of other majors:
+ complete the Word & PowerPoint, and Excel courses;
+ submit MOS Specialist certificates (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) issued by Microsoft – USA.
– Obtain the certificate of participation in club activities issued by SIU.
– Complete all required soft skills traning courses, professional skills training courses, seminars, workshops, field trips, and internships organized by the University
– Meet the requirements of the SIU swimming training course.
– Fulfill all obligations regarding tuition fees and other fess as required.
